Frequently asked questions

Do the sports bras have padding?

All of our sports bras come with removable padding, except for our Barely There Bra.

What level of support do I need in a sports bra?

The level of support you need in a sports bra depends on the type of activity you’re doing and your individual comfort. For low-impact exercises like yoga or Pilates, a light-support bra such as our Barely There Bra is often enough. For medium-impact activities like cycling or weight training, a medium-support bra provides the right balance of comfort and stability such as our Evolve sports bra. For high-impact workouts like running, CrossFit, or HIIT, you’ll need a high-support bra such as our Criss Cross Bra or Bandeau Bra to minimize movement and provide maximum support. Choosing the right level of support is crucial to ensure comfort, prevent discomfort, and protect your breasts during exercise.

How should a sports bra fit to ensure proper support?

A sports bra should fit snugly to provide proper support, but not so tight that it feels uncomfortable or restricts movement. The band, which provides most of the support, should be firm and lie flat around your ribcage without riding up or digging in. You should be able to fit two fingers comfortably between the band and your skin. The straps should be secure without slipping off your shoulders or digging in, and the cups should fully contain your breasts without any overflow or gaping. A good fit will minimize bounce, offer stability, and allow you to move freely during your workout. If you experience any discomfort, try adjusting the straps or trying a different size.

Do I need to wear a sports bra when working out?

Yes, no matter what type of exercise you're doing, it's crucial to wear a sports bra instead of a regular bra. Choosing the right sports bra for your workout is essential for protecting your breasts during exercise. A quality sports bra should provide the support you need to keep you comfortable and secure throughout your workout.

How do I wash and care for my activewear?

To extend the life of your activewear, wash it in cold water on a gentle cycle and skip fabric softeners. We recommend washing seamless pieces like leggings and shorts in a separate bag away from items with zippers, Velcro, or other elements that could damage the fabric. Always wash them inside out and avoid using a tumble dryer for the best results.
